Defiant Yarn — Refund & Return Policy

Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If that isn't the case, let us know and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right. Email us directly at hello@defiantyarn.com with your order number and photos of any issue you find.
30-Day Returns
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unused, unwound, with any tags or labels, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, contact us at hello@defiantyarn.com. Returns need to be sent to the following address:

If your return is accepted, we'll send you a return shipping label along with instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order on arrival and contact us right away if your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item. Send photos with your order number and we'll evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain items can't be returned:
- Custom, personalized, or made-to-order items (including special dye lots and custom orders)
- Digital products and downloadable patterns
- Yarn that has been wound, caked, used, or worked with
- Sale items and gift cards
Get in touch if you have a question about a specific item before you buy.
Exchanges
The fastest way to get what you want is to return the item you have and, once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union — 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return it within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unused, unwound, with any tags or labels, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We'll notify you once we've received and inspected your return and let you know whether the refund was approved. If approved, we'll refund your original payment method within 10 business days. Keep in mind that your bank or credit card company may need extra time to process and post the refund.
